• This assignment will provide targeted Financial Management and Scale‑Up Technical Assistance to selected Local Champions under IFC-s Local Champions Initiative (LCI) in Mozambique. The objective is to improve companies- investment readiness by addressing critical financial management constraints, developing credible and financeable scale‑up strategies, and aligning each company with realistic capital‑mobilisation pathways. The assignment will be delivered in two phases: Phase 1 will assess financial viability, organisational readiness, and financing eligibility, and define tailored support needs; Phase 2 will support a subset of companies through scale‑up planning, long‑term financial modelling, execution roadmaps, and preparation for engagement with DFIs, commercial banks, private equity, and other institutional financiers. The assignment emphasizes decision‑led, practical, and execution‑oriented support, while remaining adaptable to the profiles and financing pathways of individual companies.
