Description: (1) BACKGROUND & PROJECT OBJECTIVES:According to the Global Climate Risk Index (CRI 2021) in 2019, Mozambique ranked first as the most affected country hit by extreme weather events, which are becoming more and more frequent and intense due to climate change effects.Through the project - “USAID: Building Back Better and Resilience Building: An Integrated Territorial Approach in Sofala Province, Mozambique”- the UN, in a joint program implemented with UN-HABITAT and FAO, aims to build up to twenty (20) new resilient conventional housing units in Resettlement 2021 in Buzi District, Sofala, Mozambique, prioritizing vulnerable families still living in emergency shelters.(2) MAIN ACTIVITIES AND EXPECTED OUTPUTS:The contractor will undertake construction activities described in the following scope of work in the construction of the above mentioned houses, in close supervision of the UN Habitat, Human Settlements Programs ... - Documents:
