Expression of Interest are invited for Consultant Services for Environmental and Social Impact Assessment for the Civil Works for Maintenance to the Machipenda Railway Line The Mozambique Ports and Railway Company (Portos e Caminhos de Ferro de Moçambique, E. P.), has received for financing from the African Development Bank toward the cost of the Environmental and Social Impact Studies for the Proposed Machipanda Railway Rehabilitation Project, and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this grant for payments under the contract for Consultant Services for Environmental and Social Impact Assessment for the Civil Works for Maintenance to the Machipenda Railway Line. The services included under this project are as indicate in the description below: • Environmental impact assessment • Resettlement action plan • Implementation of Environmental Impact Assessment and Resettlement Action Plan The Portos e Caminhos de Ferro de Moçambique, E.P. now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consultants may constitute joint-ventures to enhance their chances of qualification. Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the African Development Bank-s Procurement Framework for Bank-financed Operations, dated August 2015, which is available on the Bank-s website at http://www.afdb.org.
