• Request for Proposals for Establishment of Long-Term Contracts (LTA) for Air Cargo Forwarding Services in Mozambique The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) in Mozambique is soliciting proposals from appropriately qualified to Establish Long-Term Contracts (LTA) for Air Cargo Forwarding Services in Mozambique. Products are regularly shipped by air from Maputo or other airports in Mozambique to the various provinces and localities where projects are implemented by UNICEF or its implementing partners. Contracted companies must be able to ensure that all air cargo can be moved and delivered without delays or additional costs. The company must be able to deliver the cargo using its own transport or through subcontracting, and must be able to pay all charges related to parking, storage, demurrage and delivery. Both freight forwarding companies airlines and companies that own or have direct access to their own fleet of cargo planes/helicopters are eligible and welcome to participate in this competition. Both types of competitors will be duly considered in the evaluation process, provided that meet the mandatory requirements and demonstrate technical, operational and financial capacity to provide the required services.
