Description:
Expression of Interest are invited for Financial Services Stock Take and Needs Assessment to Develop a Women SME Servicing Framework and Support Financial Institutions Introduce a Women SME Financing Product. The Consultant is expected to: a. Complete a stock take of current financial services targeted towards women-owned/managed SMEs (WSMEs). b. Produce a WSME financing needs assessment report, including an assessment of movable asset-based lending products. The report will be a key tool for the financial sector to tailor services and products targeted at increasing credit flows to WSMEs. c. Develop a WSME servicing maturity assessment framework for financial institutions in Mozambique. The framework will be used by FIs to assess servicing arrangements and product offerings for WSMEs; d.Support up to two financial institutions to apply the WSME servicing maturity assessment framework to their operations and develop at least one financing product targeted towards WSMEs. Consultants will be shortlisted in accordance with the following criteria: - Experience in providing business consulting and advisory services to financial institutions. - Experience in providing financial advisory services to SMEs in developing countries. - Experience working with WSMEs and adopting gender-sensitive approaches to business and financial services. - Specific experience in Mozambique is preferred.
