  • Expression of Interest are invited for Suppliers of Materials and Service Providers for the Aquaculture Value Chain - Small-Scale Aquaculture Development Project. The Ministry of the Sea, Inland Waters and Fisheries (MIMAIP), through the National Institute for the Development of Fisheries and Aquaculture, IP (IDEPA), with financial support from the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), is implementing the Development of Small Scale Aquaculture (PRODAPE). This is a project that covers 23 districts in seven provinces, namely: Niassa, Cabo Delgado, Nampula, Zambézia, Tete, Manica and Sofala, whose objective is to contribute to reducing poverty and improving food and nutritional security among families. rural areas in the target areas, and an increase in fish production, fish protein consumption and income for families and other actors involved in the aquaculture value chain. In this context, a line of financing is available for projects in the aquaculture value chain under the management of the Blue Economy Development Fund, FP (ProAzul, FP). This line was designed as a shared financing mechanism, without interest and return fees, and the intention is to carry out the registration of companies based in the area covered by the project, duly licensed and able to supply the products demanded by the beneficiaries in accordance with the following categories: · Construction of tanks : floating cages, hoes, machetes, rakes, tarpaulins for lining the tanks, among others; · Fish production : fingerlings, feed, nets for building scraps, fertilizers, scales, rulers, multiparameters, among others; · Processing : gloves, caps, boots, knives, basins, buckets, freezers, coleman , cold rooms, among others; It is · Transport of fish : open trucks and refrigerated vehicles. Thus, ProAzul, FP invites interested companies to submit their Expression of Interest by completing the form for the registration of suppliers of goods and service providers and the presentation of eligibility documents in accordance with the requirements below: (i) be a Mozambican company; (ii) be legally constituted; (iii) have NUIT; (iv) have a bank account; (v) possess INSS and Tax discharge certificate; (vi) hold a UFSA certificate; (vii) complete the supplier registration form. The form for registering suppliers can be obtained from the Provincial Directorates of Agriculture and Fisheries, Provincial Delegations of IDEPA and District Services for Economic Activities. Alternatively, interested companies, if they so wish, may request the form via email to maispeixe@proazul.gov.mz , by telephone through the number +258 800200600 or via the website www.proazul.gov.mz.
